Newell talks-up launch

Valve opus Left 4 Dead will be released on the 20th of November, big cheese Gabe Newell has told the internet over the weekend.

November 4th was the original date Valve had mooted, so it appears the game has slipped ever so slightly. We also heard over the last few days that Valve are also starting to consider a port of the title to PS3, now that interesting in the co-op focussed shooter is growing.

Any PS3 edition won't be out this side of Christmas, marketing big wig Doug Lombardi telling us that it remains a '50-50' thing.
