We've yet to see how sackboy will be received when he arrives this autumn on the PS3, but despite this ambiguity, Media Molecule's Alex Evans is happy to be considering sequel possibilities.

"I can also say that if there’s any way we can reward the community, we’ll go there. If the people are clamouring for big chunks of content, it would make total sense for us to do it," Evans told UK site Eurogamer.net.

"We’re just exploring all options at this point. Sequels? Yeah, why not? DLC, why not? Paid-for content, why not?"

LittleBigPlanet is all about user-generated content; sharing unique worlds and exploring via platform-esque gameplay - and the eponymous sackboy is also going to become poster-child of the PS3. Unsurprising, then, that Media Molecule will do everything necessary to make the game a hit.
