Worldwide chart makers talk

Game chart compilers from the US, UK and Japan have combined forces to produce a monthly list of top sellers globally.

Previously NPD, Chart-Track and Enterbrain have separately published monthly reports to their clients and some publicly licensed data, but it is unclear how much of this new report will be let out for the media to see.

An NPD spokesperson told Joystiq that "We're not sure if a regular media deliverable based on this new tracking product is something we're going to be providing. It all depends on partner reactions, client acceptance and things like that".

Not very conclusive - hopefully we'll see this data at some point though.
