Namco Bandai say Hellgate: London is safe for now

How it will fare in the long term still undecided

Hellgate: London players can relax for a while after Namco Bandai promised them the game is "not going away" in a post on the game's forum.

Speculation has been rife about the games future ever since developer Flagship studio closed down recently shutting down the beta of their other online game, Mythos, in the process. However, Zack Karlsson from Hellgate: London publishers Namco Bandai had this to say in a forum posting.

"I know everyone is looking for an announcement, and we'd love to make one - but right now, many things are in flux and we don't have all the information yet. In the short term, please do not worry. The game is up, the servers are not going away in the short term and any major changes to status will be communicated in advance."

"I'd like to ask for your patience as we try to figure it all out and chart a new course... We hope to have a real announcement shortly." he added.

More news when we get it.
