GTA Wii would be welcomed by Nintendo

Reggie wants to make our dreams come true

GTA loving Wii owners have been given a boost by comments from Reggie Fils-Aime who seems to be firmly on bored with the idea of the Take Two franchise appearing on Nintendo's console.

"A 'GTA' on the Wii is all based on what Rockstar and Take Two want to do," said the Nintendo of America President who was speaking to MTV.

"And again, from our standpoint, if they build a bottoms-up game that takes advantage of what we do well, I'd love to see it on the platform."

Of course just because Regie wants doesn't mean Reggie gets and he was the first to admit there's been no contact between Nintendo and Take Two about such a project. It's certainly a nice idea though isn't it...
