A leap of Faith
But will girls want to play them?
In news you'll all have been waiting for it seem Paramount are about to enter the games arena with scintillating sounding adaptations of films like Mean Girls, Clueless and Pretty in Pink.
OK, so it's not perhaps as exciting as we were trying to make it sound but it's an interesting approach to the market for a company the size of Paramount to take. Obviously the main target audience for these titles are going to be female gamers and Paramount's Sandi Isaacs told Variety they will be cheap, downloadable experiences that should be released in the US by the end of the year.
Paramount are also looking into the DS as a potential carrier for its games output too, which seems a natural fit for the kind of things it seems to be working on.
