Hendrix for Guitar Hero: World Tour

Just don't set light to your plastic guitar.

It looks like Guitar god Jimi Hendrix is finally headed to Guitar Hero, not before time if you ask us.

Activision have announced that Guitar Hero: World Tour will feature a number of Hendrix songs as well as having his likeness appear in game much like Slash did in GHIII.

The Hendrix tracks to make it onto the set list include The Wind Cries Mary and a live version of Purple Haze with others appearing as DLC after launch.

The appearance of these classics is thanks to the co-operation of the Hendrix Experience, the estate that controls the late artist’s songs.
