Twisting motion mooted
Some element of motion control could be integrated into Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, according to word from Microsoft big wig Ken Lobb, chatting to IGN (thanks VG247) this week.
The the exec notes that when using the wrench tool in-game, you'll "twist the controller around", the action being mirrored by the tool on the screen.
Here's the full quote: "The primary function that Kazooie has in the game is she carries this wrench, and the wrench is used for many different things," explains Lobb.
"One of the things that the wrench is used for is to turn these devices. So you basically grab with the wrench and then you twist the controller around and it’ll move different things in the game."
The new Banjo is of course looking great, and we're expecting more on this at E3 next week, including what we hope will be word on which peripheral will enable the intriguing motion control.
