Sign-up for the Wrath of the Lich King open beta test has now commenced, word in from Blizzard today informs us.

The Lich King is the second World of Warcraft expansion pack, and you can find the 'Wrath of the Lich King Beta Opt-In' on the official game website.
You can find the link via your account management page on the website, the link located rather secretly at the end of that page.
You still won't be guaranteed access even once you opt in, Blizzard stating that lucky testers will be selected from the pool of players opting in.
It is unclear exactly when the game will be released, although it is expected out by the end of the year at present.
