A leap of Faith
Reward offered
Goods worth over £1 million pounds were pinched from a delivery van parked outside a branch of Carphone Warehouse in Birmingham on Monday morning, reports The Register today. Taken were £781,000 worth of Nokia mobiles and £130,000 in Xbox consoles. So if you live in the Birmingham area, beware of unusually cheap mobiles and Xbox's - which may have fallen off the back of said lorry.
The phones have apparently been disabled now, reports West Bromwich police, and they have a description of a man they wish to question surrounding the theft: DI Carl Southwick commented: "Police want to trace a white man aged in his early 30s, 5' 8'' with blond hair, clean shaven and with a beer belly, wearing a light grey hooded top - he was seen near to the lorry when it was stolen."
A large reward is being offered for information leading to a successful conviction.
