Dyack says moving away from Unreal tech helped

Too Human creator praises in-house engine

Dennis Dyack, boss of Silicon Knights and maestro behind upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive Too Human, has said that moving from the Unreal Engine to their own in-house technology has been 'fantastic' for the firm.

"We completely threw out the Unreal Engine and focused on something that would work for what we’re doing, and it’s been fantastic," he revealed to CVG.

Silicon Knights claim that Epic mislead them over the state of their Unreal Engine, hampering the development of Too Human, a situation Epic are at pains to deny.

A lawsuit is still in progress over the matter.
