Another high-profile departure
US trade body the ESA has already coped with the disruption of losing the publishers which could one day form the the world's biggest game maker (Activision and Vivendi, including Blizzard), and now LucasArts have also announced they are departing the group.
"We can confirm that LucasArts is no longer a member of the ESA," offered a statement from the publisher. "As a company we are still committed to bringing consumers the best interactive experience possible and support the ESA’s mission in the industry."
While Activision and Vivendi said they would not be attending E3, LucasArts said they were still planning on displaying their wares at the show.
