Mag reveals name in teaser
Eying our back-catalogue of news coverage on the Prince of Persia series from Ubisoft, I was for some reason under the impression that the next iteration in the Prince's ongoing adventures would be called Prince of Persia Prodigy.
However, it looks as if there were a few crossed wires, Game Informer today hinting - strongly - that the new cel-shaded action title will be called Prince of Persia: Heir Apparent.
The magazine's next issue promises to deliver a first look at Ubisoft's new action-adventure, which won't feature the time-twisting of past outings, but will see our Prince looking more acrobatic than ever.
Update: Word in from Ubisoft PR this afternoon informs us that the name of the game is not Heir Apparent, leaving open the slight possibility that I was right along. This is just the name of GI's article, we're told. Ba-dum.
We're hopeful of more PoP news at Ubidays later this month.
Well, it actually looks like the new Prince of Persia still hasn't a final name yet:

ADVISORY
Rumors have popped up that the new Prince of Persia game is called “Heir Apparent.”
This is not the case! The origin of the mistake is in the title of the Game Informer
article on Prince of Persia called Heir Apparent.
Just to clarify: The Heir Apparent is the name of the article, and it is NOT the name
of the new game.
No name has officially been announced.
