Prince of Persia returning this year

He's back, this side of Christmas

The new Prince of Persia game from Ubisoft Montreal, which in some quarters is being referred to as Prodigy, will be released during the French publisher's third-quarter.

This period covers October to December this year, making the Prince's return in time for Christmas seem likely.

The game will be released on the PC, PS3, 360 and DS, according to the latest word. No, not like that.

The game is rumoured to include a new cell-shaded zelda-esque style, and we're promised a new plot, as well as plenty of acrobatics. That said, the time-twisting element will not be included.

More at Ubidays later this month.
