Nintendo have confirmed that gaming guru Shigeru Miyamoto is currently working with Konami on an as-yet unconfirmed Metal Gear title. Whether this new title will take the form of a Cube port, or perhaps a remake of the NES original, we can only conjecture at the moment.

Despite its current allegiance with the Playstation, the first Metal Gear games did indeed first tantalise our thumbs on the NES and GameBoy. Miyamoto hinted at this title, and an as yet unconfirmed Nintendo-developed game which is set to use the Zelda game engine, on his recent European tour.

Indeed, segments from Zelda: The Wind Waker have apparently been removed, it is rumoured, for inclusion in this new mysterious game. More on this as we get it.
