Lego Batman is still riding high in the charts, despite launching ages ago, and it seems TT Games' action-adventure game is proving a hit with the critics too, the title waltzing away with the Children’s BAFTA for Best Videogame 2008.

"We’re absolutely delighted; it’s a very special accolade for the whole team," beamed TT head honcho Jonathan Smith.

"To get this acknowledgment, here in our home country of the UK, to be acknowledged by the British Academy for the work that everyone’s done on LEGO Batman, was really thrilling."

Other challengers included Mario Kart Wii and Professor Layton and the Curious Village, not to mention TT's own Guinness World Records: The Videogame.

More soon.
